AWARD OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS CERTIFICATION

AWARD CRITERIA

The Award of Hazardous Materials Certification is awarded by the Commanding Law Enforcement Officer of the presiding jurisdiction to a person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the office, distinguished himself or herself by successful negotiation of a Sheriff’s Office approved HAZMAT Course and upon documented verification of graduating.

CERTIFICATE STANDARD

• All certificates must be printed in color on standardized paper style: Premium Card-stock Paper, 8.5" x 11", White.

• All certificates will be embossed by the hand of the "Commanding Law Enforcement Officer" and signed prior to issue.
