AWARD OF MERITORIOUS CONDUCT

AWARD CRITERIA

The Award of Meritorious Conduct is awarded by the Commanding Law Enforcement Officer of the presiding jurisdiction to a person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the office, distinguished himself or herself by meritorious achievement or service. Awards may be made to recognize single acts of merit or meritorious service with distinction. Acts of honorable and faithful service every five years warrant a recommendation for award.

CERTIFICATE STANDARD

• All certificates must be printed in color on standardized paper style: Premium Card-stock Paper, 8.5" x 11", White.

• All certificates will be embossed by the hand of the "Commanding Law Enforcement Officer" and signed prior to issue.
