FIFTH CLASS RANK

The rank of Fifth Class signifies a NC-6 grade of a non-supervisory position.  This position under general supervision: performs a wide variety of duties involved in the support role of law enforcement; performs a variety of technical, technological and tactical tasks in support of law enforcement services and activities.  Furthermore, this position is cross-functional as appropriate throughout the Sheriff's Office. This position is authorized to be assigned additional duties as required and as appropriate to enhance the capabilities of the Sheriff's Office.
